This course explores the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and Viruddha Ahara, the Ayurvedic concept of incompatible dietary and lifestyle combinations.
You will begin with the foundations of Ayurvedic nutrition, including the six tastes, body constitution, dosha-balancing factors, and the digestive role of Agni.
The course explains important Ayurvedic properties of food, including Rasa (taste), Virya (potency), Vipaka (post-digestive effect), and Prabhava (special effect).
You will then explore different types of incompatibility involving food combinations, preparation methods, quantity, timing, location, body constitution, eating habits, and activities performed before or after meals.
By the end of the course, you will have a clearer understanding of how Ayurveda evaluates food compatibility and how dietary choices may influence digestion and overall well-being.
The course also includes a 15-minute individual question-and-answer session with the instructor and a personalized certificate upon request.
