Namaste,
I’m Vaidya Kanika Kamalkant, an Ayurveda practitioner with over 15 years of experience.
My journey into Ayurveda began through my own health challenges. As a child, allergies to commonly prescribed medicines led me to explore natural approaches to healing. Over time, this personal search became a lifelong calling.
Heartfulness meditation played a transformative role in my life and deepened my understanding of the relationship between mind, body, and well-being. Guided by my meditation teacher, I was introduced to Ayurveda and began combining inner awareness with traditional healing principles.
I started my professional journey as a general physician, supporting people with common health concerns. As my experience grew, my focus shifted toward mental and emotional well-being. This led me to study modern psychotherapy, mindfulness, meditation, and their influence on overall health.
Today, my main area of expertise is Ayurvedic psychology, particularly Satvavajaya Chikitsa Ayurveda’s approach to strengthening the mind and supporting emotional balance. My work explores Ayurvedic personality types, mental well-being, soul-based perspectives, and the connection between individual constitution, lifestyle, and personal growth.
I am also developing the Varna Career Alignment Framework, a research-based approach inspired by the Vedic concepts of Guna and Karma. It explores how a person’s natural qualities and way of contributing may support career alignment, relationships, leadership, education, and self-understanding.
My long-term vision is to create a scientifically informed assessment system that connects classical Indian wisdom with modern psychology, career counselling, and personal development.
Through my courses and research, I aim to make Ayurvedic and Vedic knowledge practical, accessible, and relevant to modern life.
Jivem Śaradaḥ Śatam may we live strong, conscious, and fulfilled for a hundred years.
