Ca vorbitor profesionist, am participat, vorbit și observat nenumărate conferințe și întâlniri. Am fost martori la vorbitori incredibili și unii chiar detestabili – chiar și unii dintre cei ș.numiți profesioniști! Dar iată lucrul: nu vorbim despre vorbitori profesioniști astăzi.
Dacă ai expertiză, o perspectivă unică sau un punct de prezentat în aproape orice domeniu, există șanse mari să fii rugat în cele din urmă să 'dai un discurs'. Fie că este pentru echipa de opt persoane de pe al treilea etaj, un grup de caritate local sau un public internațional de mii de persoane, acum ești persoana în fața camerei.
OPRESC PENTRU UN MOMENT
În cei 25 de ani de experiență, am văzut doar unul vorbitor neprofesionist să-și aducă publicul la mână. Doar unul!
Deci, cu respect, este puțin probabil să îl iei din parc. Dar iată ciocanul: probabil niciodata nu vei ști că discursul tău nu a avut un impact...
De ce?
- Probabil nu ai fost plătit prea mult (dacă deloc), așa că nimeni nu va critica un gratuit.
- Organizatorul este pur și simplu recunoscător că ai fost de acord să vorbești.
- Feedback-ul este întotdeauna politicos: 'Mulțumesc foarte mult! A fost fascinant și atât de relevant!' (Bla, bla, bla...)
- Nu ești un prezentator regulat, așa că oamenii nu se așteaptă la o performanță rafinată.
- Publicul este în general politicos și nu îți va spune ceea ce au chiar gândit.
- Dacă ești șeful, nu au altă alegere decât să asculte!
