Deze inleidende cursus is daarom ontwikkeld om te verduidelijken wat de belangrijke kwesties zijn en om afstand te nemen van de fouten uit het verleden en een veel steviger begrip te vestigen van wat er gedaan moet worden om werkplekken te ontwikkelen en te handhaven die geworteld zijn in eerlijkheid en een waardering voor wat verschillende mensen kunnen bijdragen.
De cursus bestaat uit drie video-gebaseerde lessen, die elk een andere reeks kernpunten benadrukken:
- Waarom gelijkheid, diversiteit en inclusie bevorderen? Deze les verduidelijkt de reden om aandacht te besteden aan de betrokken kwesties en biedt ook belangrijke definities van de kernbegrippen (gelijkheid, diversiteit, inclusie) om misverstanden te voorkomen.
- Leren van fouten uit het verleden Histologisch gezien is onze staat van dienst bij het aanpakken van deze kwesties gemengd. Hoewel we in sommige opzichten goede vooruitgang hebben geboekt, moeten we ook erkennen dat sommige van de stappen die in naam van gelijkheid zijn genomen, niet effectief zijn geweest en zelfs extra problemen hebben gecreëerd. Deze les richt zich daarom op wat er geleerd kan worden uit die fouten.
- Valkuilen om te vermijden In het vervolg op het thema 'leren van fouten', identificeert deze les een aantal valkuilen die moeten worden vermeden om ervoor te zorgen dat onze inspanningen om gelijkheid, diversiteit en inclusie te bevorderen zo effectief mogelijk zijn.
Er is ook een module-begeleidende werkmap die je moet printen voordat je aan de cursus begint. Deze bevat ruimte voor notities plus een oefening met betrekking tot elk van de drie lessen. Dit is een belangrijke bron voor je, omdat het zal helpen om je begrip uit te breiden en te consolideren en je een set notities te bieden die als referentiebron voor toekomstige ontwikkeling kan dienen.
